🤠 HOWDY, BRAVES! WE’RE ONE WEEK AWAY! 🎃

The countdown to our Annual Trunk or Treat is ON, and we’re getting ready for a BIG night on the trail! 🧡🖤

Join us Friday, October 30, from 6–8 PM for our Neon Rodeo Trunk or Treat Presented by the DFT PTA!

Want to help make this night extra special for our Braves? We’re still welcoming trunk decorators, and we’re collecting candy and costume decorations to help bring the fun to life!

🍬 Donations can be dropped off at the front office or made online.

🎃 Want to decorate a trunk? Sign up here: https://forms.gle/ciDF263NEn5fL7Vq8

👻 Planning to join us? RSVP here: https://forms.gle/7QHxUoFVtCHREt297

RSVPs aren’t required, but they help us estimate how much candy to have ready for our Braves!

Looking for more ways to get involved? Check out our website for additional opportunities: https://www.dftpta.org/sponsorship-opportunities

Every little bit helps us make this a fun night for our DFT families. Thank you for showing up for our school and community!

We can’t wait to see y’all on the trail! 🤠

🗳️ EARLY VOTING STARTS TODAY!

Howdy, Braves!

Early voting is officially here! As you make your plan to vote, we encourage you to learn about what’s on the ballot, including Proposition A: Round Rock ISD’s Voter-Approved Tax Rate Election (VATRE).

The DFT PTA and the Round Rock ISD Council of PTAs have endorsed VATRE in support of funding for our public schools.

Why does this matter? VATRE would provide additional funding to help Round Rock ISD maintain class sizes and provide pay raises to help attract and retain the teachers and staff who serve our students every day.

As a PTA, we believe every child deserves a voice and access to a quality public education. We are proud to support efforts that invest in our students, educators, and school community.

DFT PTA encourages our families and community members to vote YES on VATRE 26!

📅 Early Voting: October 19–30
🗳️ Election Day: November 3

🔎 Election information:
• vote411.org
• wilcotx.gov/elections
• votetravis.gov

Want to learn more about what VATRE means for our district? Visit the Round Rock ISD website for additional information.

Every child. Every voice. Every family. ❤️

Picture Day is tomorrow! 📸

Tomorrow morning, our kiddos will show up in their best outfits, hair done, teeth brushed (hopefully 😂), and ready for that very important picture.

There’s something so sweet about these little moments of childhood. The excitement, the big smiles, the “chin down and smile,” and that one picture that somehow becomes a memory we keep forever.

So we thought we’d take a little trip down memory lane with some of our own DFT PTA Board members. ❤️

Looking at these little Braves, we can’t help but wonder…

Who will your Brave leaders become?

They’re already learning what it means to lead, serve, and make a difference in their school and community. And maybe one day, we’ll be looking back at their Picture Day photos and seeing the leaders they’ve grown into.

Happy Picture Day, Braves! ❤️📸
