Officer Pedroza brings three years of law enforcement experience to our department. Before beginning his career in policing, he proudly served four years in the United States Army 🇺🇸 and has also worked in public education, giving him a valuable perspective as he joins our mission of protecting and serving the Round Rock ISD community.

Outside of work, Officer Pedroza enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys fishing 🎣, playing video games 🎮, and spending time outdoors. 🌲

We are excited to have Officer Pedroza join the RRISD PD family and look forward to the experience, dedication, and commitment he brings to our team.

🚔💪 Teamwork makes us stronger! During a joint tactical exercise, multiple agencies came together at a local elementary school for high-intensity ALERRT training. A huge thank you to our training partners, Adan Ballesteros - Travis County Constable Office Pct. 2 and Pflugerville Fire Department, for helping us stay prepared to protect our schools. 👏🚒

The Round Rock ISD Police Department is proud to partner with RRISD Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs to provide hands-on learning through our Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Internship Program.

Our high school interns are gaining real-world experience in drone operations and public safety through supervised training flights on district campuses. 🚁

We're proud to help prepare the next generation of public safety professionals while continuing our mission of Protecting Tomorrow's Leaders. 💙🛡️

🚨 Community Reminder 🚨

As summer activities continue across our district, we'd like to remind our community that all Round Rock ISD campuses and facilities are closed to the public during regular school hours, as well as during district-sponsored summer camps, summer programs, and other school events.

While we know our playgrounds, fields, and campuses are wonderful places to enjoy, these areas are reserved exclusively for students, staff, and authorized participants whenever school or district-sponsored activities are taking place.

Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone participating in our programs. 👮‍♀️

Officer Lemley is a graduate of Arizona State University, where he earned a degree in Finance. He is also a certified EMT and previously served as a police officer with the Georgetown Police Department before joining the RRISD Police family.

Officer Lemley brings a strong passion for serving schools, building positive relationships with students, and helping support and protect the next generation. His dedication to creating safe and welcoming learning environments makes him a valuable addition to our team.

🚨 TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

The Round Rock ISD Police Department is hosting MHO CIT – Train the Trainer, an advanced course designed to certify officers to instruct Mental Health Officer (TCOLE 4201)–Crisis Intervention Team training (TCOLE 1850).

Participants will strengthen crisis response knowledge while developing the skills needed to teach de-escalation, communication strategies, and the use of community resources. Attendees will also receive documentation such as lesson plans, student manuals, and Power Point Presentations.

📅 Dates: July 13-17th, 2026
📍 Location: Raymond E Hartfield Performing Arts Center
👮 Who should attend: TCOLE certified Instructors or designated trainers
