Our President & CEO would like to share the following information that was provided by NM Farm & Livestock Bureau:

With New Mexico’s 2026 General Election approaching and early voting beginning today, October 6, we encourage you to take a few minutes to make a plan to vote. Voting is an important opportunity to participate in the decisions that shape our communities and our state, and every eligible voter deserves to have their voice heard.

Please keep these important dates in mind:

• October 6: Early voting begins at county clerks’ offices. Registration online, by mail, and through voter registration agents closes, but in-person same-day registration remains available.
• October 17: Additional early voting locations open.
• October 20: Last day to request an absentee ballot.
• October 31: Last day of early voting.
• November 3: Election Day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Absentee ballots must be received by your county clerk by 7 p.m.

You can visit https://www.nmvote.org/ or contact your county clerk to check your voter registration, review your sample ballot, and find voting locations and hours.

Whether you choose to vote early, by mail, or on Election Day, please make time to participate. If you have any questions about the voting process or need help finding the appropriate information, please reach out to the Government Affairs Department at (575)339-5433 or to the State Office and I would be happy to help connect you with the resources you need.
