When you are running a volunteer 501(c)(3), it's not only about the work you do on the streets. It's about reports, for the state, for donors, for the pharmacy board, the medical director. It's financials, it's budget planning, it's grant writing. All the work that is done when the trucks are parked and the uniforms are off. Want to help?

Folks - this is no joke. Sudden cardiac arrest is the 3rd leading cause of death in the US. Around 70% of these emergencies happen at home and about 90% of people will die - because often there's nobody around to help. This can happen to your kid, your spouse, your friend or neighbor. Give us TWO HOURS and we'll teach you how to dramatically improve the chances of survival. The training is FREE. Don't wait until it is too late.

Congratulations, Michaela!

Helping people on the street is only the visible part of the work. Behind the scene are countless hours of paperwork, grant applications, meetings, social media and website updates, taxes, reports, medication management, and the cleaning and maintenance of equipment and vehicles.

There is also the continuing education required to maintain professional licenses. Michaela has just completed the 50 hours needed for her National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians recertification.
