Another great weekend on Marietta Square. First, some of us had a tasty lunch at Marietta Proper, a chic 1920's themed cocktail bar and restaurant right on the corner. A wonderful afternoon with the Ramblers at Cantaberry Restaurant in Ellijay for a delicious lunch followed by a wine tour and tasting at Chateau Meichtry Family Vineyard and Winery in Talking Rock. Stunning views of the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains; a welcoming staff including knowledgeable and friendly servers, our guide - the GM, Wes, and & Shooter Ray, the guard dog; and a good selection of quality wines - White, Rosé & Red Wines - both dry and sweet!
