As part of the VFW National Day of Service, VFW Post 3679 and Auxiliary placed flags and crosses honoring departed veterans of Catoosa County Georgia. Approximately 2175 crosses and flags are displayed every Memorial Day. Each cross has the veteran’s name, branch of service and other information such as rank, years served and wars in which they served. What an incredible honor to participate in commemorating our fallen comrades. It gives us a great sense of respect and pride to participate in this meaningful event with the members of our local community.

VFW Post 3679 is hosting an SVA (Student Veterans of America) cookout on May 23rd at our post located at 98 Memorial Drive in Rossville Georgia. Student Veterans are invited to join us for free Hamburgers, Hotdogs, chips and non-alcoholic beverages and fellowship from noon to 2 pm.
