Rosman Middle School Rosman Middle School serves 200+ students in grades 6-8 in Rosman, NC, as one of nine TCS schools.

RMS Expects: Cooperation among all, Academic growth, Respect for ourselves and others, Excellence in everything we do, and Success for all students. Vision: Student success will always be the driving force at RMS. Creed: We don't have to be the same, think the same, dress the same, or believe the same, but, we do have to respect differences, protect ourselves, and protect others from unfair treatment.

What an incredible night at Rosman Middle School!

Last night's Academic Showcase was a celebration of all the amazing work our Tigers have put in throughout the year. Families and community members got to see displays showcasing student learning from the year, including art, math, science and literacy projects. Eighth grade students did a great job presenting their Democracy Project presentations on the theme "Young Americans: Your Voice Counts, How Do You Participate in Your Democracy?" It There was also a special musical performance from students in Mr. McCanless' class.

Dinner was also provided free of charge, courtesy of GearUp NC Appalachian Partnership.

A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers and staff who made the evening possible, and to the parents and families who came out to cheer on their students.

We are so proud of the creativity, critical thinking, and civic passion our Rosman Middle School students continue to demonstrate. These young people are proof that you are never too young to make a difference.

Summer is right around the corner, and Transylvania County Schools Department of School Nutrition will offer free summer meals! All children 18 years and younger are eligible. We will offer three ways to access summer meals. These are outlined on the flyer below. Registration is required for our "Groceries to Go" and Home Delivery programs. Families, please make sure to check your email and phone alerts for the registration link.
