New Art Show at the Library!! An exhibit of photo-art by Michael Stone. There will be a reception for the artist this evening, Tuesday, June 2nd, 5:30 to 7:00 at the library.

Michael says of his work: “ I use my digital camera and Photoshop to create my view of the world as I see it. Some images are made with digital collages and some with digital paint or both together.”

To whet your curiosity about this show, here's a sampling of Michael's work. This show will be on display at the library through the end of June.

Thanks to the energy and enthusiasm of Friends of the Roslyn Library volunteers, Seussapalooza #19 was a swimmingly successful event. Following the well-established tradition of choosing one particular Dr. Seuss book as the theme for each year's fundraiser, the organizers chose "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish as the inspiration for this year's event. Seussapalooza tickets are now on sale at the Roslyn Public Library.
Saturday, April 18, 5:30 - 7:30 pm at the UKC Senior Center
Dive into a bright and splashy evening inspired by Dr. Seuss' classic tale! Join us for: A fast-paced DESSERT DASH loaded with sweet surprises. A fantastic SILENT AUCTION filled with great finds. A fully loaded BAKED POTATO BAR with all the fixings. PRIZES for BEST COSTUMES - bold, bright, and brilliantly Seussian. A fun-filled KIDS' SPACE with games and activities for our littlest fish. Live music by FEATHER RIVER to keep the party flowing all evening long.
Tickets available at the Roslyn Library: $15 Adults ~ $10 Youth ~ Children under 6 free.
