On Friday, April 10th at approximately 5:47 PM, Tower Ladder 565 was dispatched to the Glenwood Fire Company as the F.A.S.T. truck for a working detached garage fire in Old Brookville.

Thanks to the swift response and coordinated efforts of the Glenwood Fire Company and mutual aid departments, the fire was quickly brought under control and successfully contained to the garage, preventing further extension.

Early this morning, Tower Ladder 565 responded on mutual aid to the Glenwood Fire Company for a 4th alarm building fire on Cedar Swamp Rd in Glen Head.

Alongside numerous departments, crews worked tirelessly under challenging conditions to bring the fire under control. After several hours of coordinated efforts, the blaze was successfully contained.

Strong work by all companies on scene.

On a Monday afternoon at approximately 1:15 p.m., Engine 566 was requested as mutual aid to the scene of a 3rd alarm house fire in Jericho. The crew of Engine 566 assisted with operations to extinguish the fire.

Helmet Cam:
On Tuesday at approximately 13:32 the Roslyn Fire Companies were dispatched to the scene of a car fire on Searingtown Road. 5900 was first on scene and confirmed the active car fire. Engine 566 was first due apparatus on scene and was able to capture this video from the nozzle firefighters helmet camera.

While crews were standing by at the firehouse during the blizzard, the Roslyn Fire Companies were dispatched to a car fire on Glen Cove Road in East Hills. Chief Brennan (5600) arrived on scene and confirmed the car fire. Engine 567 quickly extinguished the fire with assistance from Engine 566 and Quint 595.

At approximately 7:56 a.m., 2nd Assistant Chief Collura (5602) toned out the Roslyn Fire Companies for a confirmed car fire in front of the Roslyn Claremont Hotel on Old Northern Blvd. Engines 566 and 591 quickly arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.

At approximately 2:31 p.m., the Roslyn Fire Companies were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with an overturn and entrapment on the Northern State Parkway. Chief Brennan (5600) quickly arrived on scene and confirmed there was no entrapment. Heavy Rescue 562, Tower Ladder 565, Rescue 591, and Engine 592 assisted with securing the vehicle. One patient was transported to an area hospital for further evaluation.

The Roslyn Fire Companies were alerted to a potential car fire. 5900 confirmed the car fire upon arrival. Engine 567 arrived first on scene and knocked down all visible fire. Upon completion of 567's on board water supply, the crew of 567 used Highland engine 591's water supply to finish cooling the vehicle.
