April is MONTH OF THE MILITARY CHILD! The California National Guard Child and Youth Program invites ARNG youth to attend one of these events.

One is April 1-2, 2017 at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This free overnight adventure is for youth ages 6-17 years old and they must be registered in DEERS, and one parent/guardian per family must attend. You'll enjoy fun activities throughout the evening, including a bedtime snack and special late-night programming, before snuggling up to fall asleep in front of world-class exhibits. In the morning, greet the day with ocean animals and then enjoy a continental breakfast in the Cafe.

The other event is April 7-9, 2017 at River Way Ranch Camp. This is a free outdoor adventure camp for 3 days and 2 nights. Youth ages 7-12 years old can attend, along with one parent/guardian per family. Guard families will capture a full experience through various
outdoor adventures such as high/low ropes challenge courses, rocketry,orienteering, understanding horsemanship, camp fires and much more!
