Join us Friday, June 19, 2026, from 11:00 AM–7:00 PM at the MDP Southeast Michigan Office, 18160 Woodward Ave., Detroit, MI 48203.

Juneteenth gives us a sacred opportunity to pause, remember the long road toward freedom, and honor the strength, resilience, and brilliance of Black communities. It’s also a time to gather in joy with family, neighbors, leaders, and community partners as we build a freer future together. 🤝

This family-friendly celebration features rides 🎡, food 🍽️, a DJ 🎶, games, bounce houses, and chances to connect with community members from across Southeast Michigan!

The fact that outside groups are already spending money to attack this campaign tells us one thing:

They know this race is competitive.

When powerful interests start running negative ads this early, it’s because they’re worried that voters are paying attention and looking for new leadership.

These attacks are meant to distract, divide, and discourage. But they underestimate the power of a community that stands together.

To our friend and candidate: keep your head up. The people who know your character, your work ethic, and your commitment to this community aren’t going to be fooled by political hit pieces.

We’ve got your back.

Stay focused on the issues. Keep talking about lowering costs, improving lives, and delivering results for working families. That’s what voters care about.

🚩 Solidarity with UAW Local 2093! 🚩

Workers from UAW Local 2093 in Three Rivers are standing up for themselves, their families, and the dignity of working people. As union members and community allies, we have a responsibility to stand with them during this difficult time.

UAW Region 1 is organizing a Solidarity Support Caravan from Warren to Three Rivers to deliver much-needed donations, meet striking workers, and walk the picket line in support of our brothers and sisters.

Donations needed include:

• Toiletries and hygiene products
• Baby food and baby supplies
• Pet food and pet supplies
• Other everyday necessities
