๐ค Itโs National Co-Responder Week โ and weโre proud to recognize the Roseville Police Departmentโs Behavioral Health Unit (BHU).
BHU brings together public safety, behavioral health, and housing expertise to respond to some of the most complex needs in our community โ from mental health crises and homelessness to substance use. The team also provides follow-up, care planning, and connections to resources long after the initial call.
๐ In 2025, CAT assisted with 1,376 calls โ a 52.2% increase from 2024. So far in 2026, the team has assisted with 565 calls, serving over 415 Roseville residents.
But behind every number is a person who needed help.
This is public safety with a broader lens โ meeting people where they are, building trust, finding solutions, and connecting people with the support they need.
Sometimes the best response isnโt just answering the call. Itโs helping change what happens next.
