Today is a huge milestone for Academy 26-01, as we complete nearly 5 weeks of the 8 week academy we will be conducting live fire training today allowing the firefighters a chance to practice all of the skills on a real fire ground!

A reminder of today's statewide tornado drills at 1:45 and 6:45 pm!

It's a good time to practice where you would go in a weather emergency.

Day 4 of Severe Weather Awareness Week is about tornadoes!

Tornado Watches highlight where tornadoes are most likely to develop. Tornado Warnings mean a tornado is occurring or expected soon. Tornado Emergencies are for confirmed violent tornadoes causing damage.

News Release: Roseville firefighters put out blaze at local business, rescue trapped worker

At 8 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, Roseville Fire was dispatched to Quality Custom Distribution at 2501 Walnut Street for a report of a vehicle fire involving a tractor-trailer. Immediately upon arrival, fire crews upgraded this call to a working fire as multiple semi-trailers were involved, and the blaze was beginning to extend into the building.

While crews were suppressing the fire, firefighters were informed an employee was trapped inside the building, inside a cooler, unable to escape on their own due to the smoke and lack of visibility in the structure. Roseville and Lake Johanna firefighters searched the structure, located and assessed the employee, and guided him out. The employee was uninjured.

Crews controlled the blaze and continued to operate on scene, putting out hot spots for two hours. The fire was mostly kept to the exterior trailers with some minor damage to the building. Roseville Fire was assisted on scene by Roseville Police, Lake Johanna Fire, Little Canada Fire, Maplewood Fire, New Brighton Public Safety, North St. Paul Fire, St. Anthony Fire, Vadnais Heights Fire, White Bear Lake Fire, and Allina EMS.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
