COMPANY PHILOSOPHY OF SERVICES

TSE strives to actively involve individuals in their communities. This means providing the opportunity for regular and meaningful interaction with peers who are not disabled nor paid service providers. This means providing a level of independence that celebrates a person's abilities w

hile respecting the person's right to take reasonable risks. TSE provides age-appropriate and functional training in the least restrictive environment. Individual training and support is provided in a manner that respects the person as an adult. While recognizing the person's disabilities, services focus on their strengths and abilities. TSE uses best practices in its financial, personnel, legal and organizational policies and procedures. As a private, non-profit company, TSE must operate in a manner that uses taxpayer dollars in the most effective and efficient manner possible. Health and safety policies and procedures have been established to ensure that the rights, dignity and safety of the people are protected. This includes the necessary supports that acknowledge each person's vulnerabilities, and the respect to allow people to risk failure as they attempt to grow as individuals.

Please join us in congratulating Dan Gould, who has accepted a new position with Staples, where he’ll be working in the warehouse! 👏

Dan worked REALLY, REALLY hard to reach this goal. His persistence, determination, and willingness to keep showing up and giving his best made this opportunity possible. We couldn’t be prouder of him! 💪

We’re also grateful for our partnership with Staples and their continued commitment to creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

For 35 years, this event has celebrated inclusion, connection, and possibility while raising funds to support people with disabilities.

🎉 65 YEARS OF TSE — WHAT A CELEBRATION! 🎉

What an incredible day!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the John Rose Minnesota OVAL to celebrate 65 years of TSE. From longtime friends and former employees to current employees, families, board members, people supported by TSE, community partners, and new faces — this celebration truly was about all of us. ❤️

We spent the day sharing memories, exploring TSE’s history, enjoying lunch, playing games, taking photos, and celebrating the people and relationships that have shaped TSE over the past 65 years.

Our anniversary program gave us a chance to reflect on where TSE has been, where we are today, and where we’re going next — capped off with a special toast to TSE! 🥂

For everyone joining us for TSE’s 65th Anniversary Celebration, we can’t wait to celebrate with you! 💛

🎈 Look for the gold balloons when you arrive!

Quick reminder: If you need elevator access, please use the Main/South Entrance near the South Parking Lot, as the North Elevator is currently out of service. There is a ramp that can be used for wheelchairs in the south entrance.

⚠️ TSE will not be providing supervision. Please make sure anyone who requires support has a paid/PLUS 1 staff member, family member, or friend accompanying them.
