Roseville High School is known as the “High School on the Hill” and is located in the heart of the community. Established in 1912, the first of five comprehensive high schools built in the Roseville Joint Union High School District, Roseville High School is growing with the community and district it serves. s staff, students, parents, and community members work together to accomplish the school’s mission: to prepare all students for post-secondary education. Parents and community members play important roles as partners in the education of Roseville High School students. Organized parent and support groups actively contribute to annual school events. New student/parent orientations, Back-to-School Night, Homecoming Week, High School on the Hill Day/Night, school activities, and sporting events welcome parent investment and participation. School advisory teams offer valuable input to the school and district governance process through positive interaction with staff. Parents and students are included in the School Site Council, Parents Club, Music Boosters, Athletic Boosters, English Learner Advisory Council, and ad hoc committees. Roseville High School Alumni Association and Reaching Out and Sharing Experiences (R.O.S.E.) program are examples of intergenerational teams unique to the school’s culture that foster leadership opportunities from within. School pride resonates from student actions including: academic achievement, community service, athletics, clubs, visual and performing arts, above-and-beyond projects, and internships. Roseville High School is a public high school in Roseville, California, United States. It is a member of the Roseville Joint Union High School District. History
Roseville High School was established in 1912. In the beginning of its history, RHS has served as a the primary high school for Roseville and the surrounding areas. As the population of Placer County expanded, many schools were added to the Roseville Joint Union High School District. Today, RHS is one of the four major high schools in Roseville, California and serves many of the residents in Central Roseville. Roseville High School was the 2008 SFL Football Champions and CIF-San Joaquin Section semi-finalist. Student Body Presidents
