Did you know the Natural History Museum at Sierra College offers free science events? Join them this Saturday for Glow On! Natural Bioluminescence!

Join Us! Our next program is Free Saturday: Glow On! Natural Bioluminescence on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10am-noon with Free Admission! We’ll enjoy a free, fun-filled day exploring this special chemical reaction called bioluminescence! Nature can put on a stunning show, especially when it comes to the creatures on our planet that just glow. They have what others don’t: natural bioluminescence! This special chemical reaction allows living things to produce light in their bodies, from the ocean's depths to forests, which they use for communication, attracting prey, finding mates, and defense. Hear stories about natural bioluminescence, enjoy a bioluminescence-inspired chemistry experiment, create your own art inspired by these glowing creatures, and enjoy glowing drinks and snacks. All ages welcome!

Our older students took some time to brainstorm their best advice for the future New Pacific Roseville Otters who will be stepping into their shoes next year.

Their top tips for school success?

-Stay on top of your classwork and be organized.
-Be a good friend, be kind and stick together.
-Always try your best, because your teachers are rooting for you!

We are so proud of the leadership and care our older students have shown all year long. You've set an amazing example for the future of New Pacific!

Back in February 2025, our then K-1st scholars at Rancho and Roseville became pen pals. They have been corresponding regularly, and had the opportunity to meet in person last week! Thank you to Ms. Henley and Ms. Porter for making this possible!

Throughout this entire school year, our incredible scholars across both New Pacific Charter campuses have filled our halls, classrooms, and playgrounds with endless creativity. From the collaborative team efforts like our stunning student-painted mural to the beautifully bright masterpieces dreamed up by our younger creators, artistic inspiration has been absolutely off the charts. We are so incredibly proud of our artists and how they have used their unique skills and spirit to make our school community a brighter, more vibrant place to learn and grow!

As we get closer to summer vacation, today’s countdown post is all about one of our absolute favorite priorities: literacy and a love for reading! Pictured here is one of our raffle winners from our Book Blast event earlier this year! Thanks to that event, every single one of our students received at least two brand-new books to take home and keep. Our goal? To make sure that every child has direct access to books over the break so they can keep those reading muscles strong all summer long. Help us keep the momentum going! Set aside a few minutes for reading each day, visit the local library, or have your student read their new Book Blast treasures to you. Let’s keep the pages turning all summer!
