Taiwanese American Citizens League - Los Angeles TACL IS A NON-PROFIT, EDUCATION, PUBLIC AFFAIRS, AND HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATION REPRESENTING AMERICANS OF TAIWANESE ANCESTRY.

THE MISSION OF TACL IS TO ENHANCE THE WELL-BEING OF TAIWANESE-AMERICANS AND TO PROMOTE TAIWANESE-AMERICAN PARTICIPATION IN THE AMERICAN DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM. OUR WORK IS LARGELY DEVOTED TO BUILDING AN UNDERSTANDING OF TAIWANESE-AMERICAN HERITAGE AND HELPING TO CONTRIBUTE TO A TAIWANESE-AMERICAN CULTURE EVER RICHER IN ITS DIVERSITY. OUR PROGRAMS INCLUDE JOURNALISM INTERNSHIP, SUMMER POLITICAL INTERNSH

IP, SUMMER LEADERSHIP AND IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT CAMPS, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES. THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ALL COLLEGE BOUND SENIORS AND JUNIORS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA HIGH SCHOOLS REGARDLESS OF RACE, NATIONAL ORIGIN, AND FINANCIAL NEED.
