📍Location change: this ceremony will take place outside the Roselle Fire Department (100 E. Maple Ave.)

2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Join us on Friday, September 11 outside Village Hall (31 S. Prospect St.) as we honor the lives lost and the courageous efforts of first responders. Attendees are welcome to share their remembrances during this ceremony, which will begin at 8:30a.m. and will conclude by 9:00a.m.

It's going to be another hot and humid day! Stay hydrated, wear lightweight clothing, and consider shifting outdoor activities planned today.

Dangerous heat and humidity will continue through this evening. Peak heat indices are forecast to be in the 100-105F range once again, locally up to 110 south of I-80, which could result in heat related illness. Make sure to take precautions to stay cool!
