Neighbors came together Friday to remember and honor the lives lost 25 years ago. Mayor Joseph Signorello Jr., Council President Jay Robaina, and council members Jorge Casalins, Joe Petrosky, Rosanna Antonuccio-Lyons, and Khanjan Patel joined the community in a heartfelt evening of unity and reflection.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, including the Roselle Park Police Honor Guard for the posting of colors. Special thank you to Reverend Father Paul J. Prevosto for offering the invocation, Pastor Jisu Ahn for the benediction, and Tiffany Narvarez, Mikaela Munoz-Guzman, Isabella Gallego, David Piatkowski, and Michaiah Ceus for their performances.

We are committed to maintaining clean streets and protecting our local environment. Our street sweeping program removes litter, leaves, and debris before it enters our storm sewer system, ensuring better drainage and reducing the amount of pollutants entering our local waterways.

The sweeper will begin one hour earlier on Thursday.

Our 125 Trees for 125 Years Initiative is still going strong! 🌳 The community-driven effort will bring 125 new trees to local streets and front yards to ensure our community remains vibrant for the next century.

As part of the initiative, residents can request the planting of a shade tree within the public right-of-way in front of or adjacent to their home. Requests can be submitted through the end of September.
