The NJSP Helicopter will be arriving to participate in the Roseland First Responder Appreciation Day event. It will be landing in the tennis court/pickle ball court parking lot (19 Harrison Ave) between 4:15pm and 4:30pm with a planned takeoff between 5:15pm and 5:30pm. During landing and takeoff, all play on the tennis and pickleball courts will be suspended.

🚸 PEDESTRIAN SAFETY ENFORCEMENT 🚸

The Roseland Police Department will be conducting Pedestrian Safety Enforcement details in various locations around town starting this coming Thursday, August 27th.

Please remember:
• Stay alert and watch for pedestrians
• Yield to pedestrians in crosswalks
• Avoid distractions while driving
• Pedestrians should use designated crosswalks whenever possible

Together, we can keep Roseland safe.

Due to the forecast for heavy rains, Borough parks will be closed and outdoor recreation programs are canceled. While storm drains have recently been cleared, that does not mean heavy rains cannot overwhelm them. If a road is covered with water, remember the expression - turn around, don't drown!
