Associates Vietnam Veterans of America Roseburg Oregon We are very active in informing veterans and their families about Agent Orange and PTSD. It can be diagnosed with a blood test performed by your doctor.

Recent studies have shown that Agent Orange affects not only the Veteran but can affect his wife and children and grandchildren to the third generation. It can manifest in many different ways - cancers, tumors, Type 2 diabetes, spina bifida, and many more ways.

Memorial Day ceremonies. Our AVVA group participated in 3 ceremonies today. We started at the Douglas County Courthouse then to the National Cemetery with joining the main ceremony at the Roseburg VA National Cemetery.

Courthouse Ruth Ruth Gadreault Feliciano opened our ceremony with
Heather Feliciano-Dornon as the speaker and Linda Blocher closed in prayer.

National Cemetery speaker was Peggy Chillemi and Dorine Kirkes closed read a closing prayer written by one of our veterans that couldn't join us today.

We had a wonderful day yesterday. We had the privilege to deliver Christmas gifts to 4 families. A total of 12 children. Thank you to the families for allowing us to bless you and thank you to our ladies for shopping, wrapping and delivering. Thank you to our VVA for supporting our ministry.

Come to the Douglas County Fair Grounds and check out the Associates of Vietnam Veterans Of America booth in the exhibit hall third building back.
To find us go almost to Santa, turn left and third from the end, booth 100.
All items have been donated and the proceeds go to help veterans in Douglas County.

Douglas County Christmas Fair is next weekend. Dates are December 5-7th at the fairgrounds. Our booth is in the (what I call) 4H building. We are booth 100, corner booth on the left towards the back of the building.

Jeannie Cooper, Dorine Kirkes, Peggy Chilliem, Milt Houghton and several others have been working hard.

Come see what craft you may be interested! All funds go towards projects to help our veterans. One is Moods in Music, a free 6-week guitar class that helps veterans with PTSD. We have several classes throughout the year.
