Our residents enjoyed a wonderful day trip to Glide with several fun stops along the way!

The group started with a delicious meal at 138 Grill before visiting River Ranch Olive Oil Company, where they learned about the process of creating their specialty cooking oils. They then made a stop at Fine Timed Collectibles, where they explored beautifully restored vintage clocks and learned about the craftsmanship that brings these timeless pieces back to life.

The residents had a fantastic time, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and created wonderful memories together.

Today, we honor and remember the extraordinary life and legacy of Sister Jacquetta Taylor. Sister Jacquetta was a remarkable leader whose compassion, vision, and dedication transformed healthcare and senior living in our community.

As the former CEO of Mercy Medical Center and the visionary founder of the Mercy Foundation and Linus Oakes Retirement Village, her impact continues to be felt by countless lives she touched. Sister Jacquetta played a vital role in relocating Mercy’s campus to its current location and expanding healthcare services to better serve our community for generations to come.

She was known not only for her leadership, but for her humility, generosity, gratitude, and unwavering commitment to caring for others. Her legacy of compassion and service remains an inspiration to us all.

Today, we celebrate a woman whose life was devoted to making the world a kinder and better place. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she served and inspired. 💙
