đź’š Mental Health Awareness Month | Simple Ways to Support Your Well-Being

Taking care of your mental health does not always require a big change. Small, steady actions can help support emotional well-being and make daily stress feel more manageable.

This month, try staying connected with friends or family, celebrating small wins, focusing on what you can control, being kind and patient with yourself, and asking for help when you need it.

Mental health matters every day, and support is always worth reaching for.

🚨 ACTION ALERT! 🚨 More than 700 organizations — including victim service providers, advocacy organizations, and justice system partners from across the country — are calling on Senate leadership to act.

Take our Action Alert and join us: https://buff.ly/OQJe26z

The Crime Victims Fund is the primary source of funding for services that support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, trafficking, and other crimes. Yet today, the CVF is nearly depleted, putting critical, lifesaving services and victims’ lives at risk.

Communities are already feeling the impact. Programs have been forced to reduce services, lay off staff, and, in some cases, close their doors entirely. Without immediate action, more survivors will be left without the support they need to stay safe, heal, and rebuild their lives.

The Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act offers a bipartisan, commonsense solution to stabilize the CVF using non-taxpayer dollars, ensuring continuity of services while Congress works toward a long-term fix.

The House has acted, and now, 700 organizations are urging the Senate to do the same. Leader John Thune, Senator Chuck Schumer, Senator Chuck Grassley, and Senator Dick Durbin: pass the Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act now. Survivors can’t afford delays.

The Crime Victims Fund is nearly depleted, putting critical, lifesaving services and victims’ lives at risk. The Senate must pass this bipartisan, common-sense solution now. Survivors can’t wait.”]

Denim Week 2026 is a national campaign from April 27 to May 1 that raises awareness about sexual violence, supports survivors, and promotes a culture of consent.

Denim Day traces back to a landmark protest against victim-blaming. After an Italian court overturned a sexual assault conviction based on the survivor’s clothing, advocates around the world responded by wearing denim as a symbol of protest and solidarity.

What began as a single act of resistance has become an international campaign that challenges myths about sexual violence and supports survivors everywhere.
