Members of the Oregon National Guard have been an incredible help to us at Providence Medford. This evening, they lowered the flag outside the hospital to half-staff to honor the U.S. service members and others who lost their lives today in the bombing in Kabul. Thank you to the Medford Police officers who joined us in paying our respects.

Soldiers from Charlie assisting with processing the unclaimed remains of veterans from WW1 & WW2. They will remain at the court house until next month where they will receive full military honors and burial at the Roseburg National Cemetery.

Twenty-eight veterans whose remains have waited unclaimed at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses, some for as many as 44 years, arrived Friday in a silver hearse at the Douglas County
