Thank you Roseburg!
Since 1954 the IAFF has teamed up with the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) to raise money for local children’s treatment and therapy, and this year we raise a grand total of $17,064 which is our third best year to date.

We would also like to share a special thank you to Old Soul Pizza for the continued support over the last couple years and keeping our firefighters fueled throughout the day!

Tomorrow (6/7/24) we will be doing our annual fill the boot fundraiser for MDA! If you are cruising through downtown Roseburg we will be accepting donations from 9-5! Looking forward to seeing you there!

Today Roseburg fire crews on B shift were able to get out in the community and get some live training at one of our local retirement homes. The crew training involved Ladder truck operations, (Simulated) ventilation, hose lays within the structure, and rescue operations.

Congratulations to Firefighters Hagen, Gillespie, and Gallagher on successfully completing their year of probation! After all the long shifts and hours of training and studying they have exceeded expectations and show what it means to be a Roseburg Firefighter and we are excited to see what the future holds for their careers!

Tomorrow your Roseburg Firefighters will be on the intersection of Stephans & Oak/Washington raising money for people with muscular dystrophy!

Last year Local 1110 Firefighters raised just over $18,000 for the MDA!

All donations small and larger are accepted so come out and “Fill the Boot”, all donations stay local and could help a person in Douglas County. See you out there!

Today Local 2091 Douglas County Firefighters as well as your Local 1110 Roseburg Firefighters will be at the Douglas county fairgrounds for the 7th Annual Brew Ha-Ha.

This event is in support of the Treven Anspach Memorial fund. Off duty fire fighters will be serving beer from 3-11pm.
$15 entry, must be 21+ See you out there!🍻

Roseburg firefighters on B-shift were out doing some apparatus training today!

On this episode of “Cone Crusher” Our recruit firefighter trained on operating our ladder truck. This cone course tests the skills of each of our drivers and firefighters… and yes, cones get crushed. At the end of the day he was able to confidently and successfully maneuver through the course!

Disclosure- only one cone was harmed in the making of this film

A-shift on scene of a 5th wheel fire. It was fully involved when the first engine arrived but crews were able to make a quick knock down and get the fire extinguished before any chance of extension to near by homes.
