Another day, another success!

We cleaned up around Jackson Street last night.

There were so many cigarette butts thrown on the curbs and in the bark mulch flower beds.

We cleaned out some of the grates to the drains, the rainy season is slowly coming upon us and it would suck to have it flood downtown. They weren't to bad, but one had a garbage bag wrapped around it and the others were jam-packed with leaves and small garbage.

Theres a really cool old fashioned TV for free outside Roseburg Resale. If you want it, you should go get it!

Also huge shout-out to The Rosebud Theatre for letting us come to the show!

They saw us cleaning before (we had already planned on going, but needed to waste some time) andthey thanked us and let us in for free! - That was really awesome of them and allowed us to spend money on the band!

We highly recommend going and seeing a show at The Rosebud, they put on all types of artists with all kinds of music. They're an amazing local business and we're so lucky to have them 🫶

We cleaned up through the park after Music on the Half Shell we got a full bag almost entirely filled with the pamphlets pictured below.

While we acknowledge and respect everyone's right to religion and speech - littering in our park is unnecessary and disheartening.

Please pick up your pamphlets if you're passing them out.

Tonight, we went down to the Lavender Festival - but we only saw one piece of trash!

So we made our way down to Cleveland Rapids and picked up the river bed. We found a big ol tire we wanna come back for - but we weren't prepared to get in the water today. After getting about half a bag, we called it a day.

Yall have done an amazing job keeping it clean out there! We're proud of you, Roseburg!

Just a quick update on our operations since we've been quiet lately!

Tonight at 6 pm, were headed out to Cleveland Rapids to pick up some trash at the Lavender Festival to help out our AMAZING local farmers that put on this event for us.

We partnered up with our friends Music on the Half Shell to do clean ups in Stuart Park after they jam.

We're still trying to adopt Deer Creek (we have supplies already and a sign to put up so people can contact us if it gets messy between cleans) our hold up has been this:

We want to clean up our town, the city wants us to have $2,000,000 in insurance. Our entire team combined has a net worth of about $130 (including the $120 donated to our operations). So we're at a loss for what to do.

We will find a way to do it though❤️

We have a meeting with the Ford Family Foundation to see if they can assist in any of our work.

We are excited to announce that Beauty in the Burg will be helping clean up Stewart Park after each concert.

You can help us too by making sure that all your garbage & recyclables make it to the appropriate bins.

Beauty in the Burg will have all garbage & recyclables bagged up and ready for the parks department to dispose of the following morning.
