🚨 PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT 🚨

The Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred at the Sunrise Apartments.

An adult female sustained a gunshot wound during the incident and is receiving medical attention.

The suspect has been identified as Jesse Menard. Jesse Menard should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see or locate Jesse Menard, DO NOT APPROACH OR ATTEMPT TO MAKE CONTACT.

Immediately call 911 or contact law enforcement with any information regarding his whereabouts.

We ask the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

🚨 REWARD OFFERED – HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION 🚨

A reward of $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the shooting death of Tylen Valandra.

The incident occurred during the early morning hours of June 22, 2026.

Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services is actively investigating this case and is seeking assistance from the public. No piece of information is too small. Your tip could be the key to bringing justice to Tylen Valandra and his family.

If you have any information regarding this homicide, please contact law enforcement immediately or call 911.

All information will be investigated.

Shayonna Whipple has been located today and is safe. We appreciate the tips and shares. Thank you.

The Rosebud Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a runaway juvenile female, Shayonna Whipple, who was reported missing on 4-24-2026. Officers have already checked several locations known to be associated with the juvenile, but have been unable to locate her at this time. We are asking residents to remain alert and report any possible sightings or information regarding her whereabouts immediately. If you have information please contact RPD dispatch at 605-856-2282 or 911.

MISSING PERSON

Alisha Dawn Tramp, 32 years old is approximately 5’3” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. Alisha frequently changes the color of her hair but was last seen with blue highlights. She may be in our area.

Teamwork. Great job.

At 11:13 PM on March 10, 2026, Mako Sica K9 SAR was requested to assist RST Tribal Police in the search for three young relatives who had been reported missing. With the heavy accumulation of snowfall and the rugged terrain in the area, locating these individuals quickly was a high priority.

Through coordinated operations and clear communication with the relatives of the missing individuals, search teams were able to safely and successfully locate all three individuals in a timely manner.

We would like to thank EPP, RST Emergency Management, volunteers of Mako Sica K9 SAR, and most of all K9 Zeke/RST Tribal Police for their rapid response, teamwork, and collaboration that helped bring three relatives home safely.
