The 150th Battle of the Little Bighorn is going to be a historic gathering and we are still looking for additional Security Volunteers to help support the people, families, elders, and visitors attending this important event.

This is more than just volunteering. Participants will come away with valuable hands on experience and training that can be added to a resume, including:

• Basic Security Procedures
• CPR
• First Aid
• ATV/UTV Operation
• Crowd Control

Whether you are interested in public safety, emergency response, event operations, or simply want to help our community, this is a great opportunity to gain real world experience while serving the people.

All volunteers will receive training.

Reminder: Executive Meeting Today

The Executive Meeting for the 150th Annual Battle of the Little Big Horn will take place today at 1:00 PM at the DPP Building.

Following today’s meeting, we will host a larger gathering tomorrow and Friday at the Rosebud Casino, bringing together tribes and relatives from across the region. These sessions will focus on sharing ideas and working together to make this June’s event a meaningful and successful gathering for everyone.

All are welcome to attend and be part of the planning.

As we prepare for the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of the Little Bighorn (June 23–25, 2026), we are asking community members to fill out a quick survey to help us plan accordingly.

We need to know:
Who is interested in attending
Who will need transportation
Who will need a camping spot
How many will be staying in the Rosebud camp
How many people we will need to prepare meals for

This information is critical to making sure everyone who wants to be part of this historic event has the opportunity to go and is properly supported.
