Plan ahead and stay safe

A strong system will impact the region Wednesday night into Thursday. A brief period of rain Wednesday night will transition to snow. Snowfall accumulations will remain light, however winds as high as 70 mph will cause significant blowing snow. Areas that recieve more snow, such as northeastern ND into the northern Red River Valley, have the highest chance of seeing blizzard conditions. If you are traveling or have plans, make sure to stay up to date with the latest forecast.

As everyone heads out to deer camp make sure you test your smoke and CO alarms, see if the fire extinguisher charged and everyone has 2 ways out of the building. Make sure furnace is running good and nothing is blocking the vent. Many of these camps only get used this week so take the time to check them over.
