A pair of Apple AirPods in a case was recently turned into the Rose Hill Police Department after being found on Park Road. If you are the owner, please contact the department or visit the station between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday or call 316-776-0191 to make arrangements. You will be required to describe the case and any identifying attachments to claim the item.

Over Memorial Weekend, Captain Jason Conrad celebrated his 23rd work anniversary on May 23, 2026. Captain Conrad is a valuable asset to our department, often taking on multiple responsibilities. He consistently steps in to work whatever shift is needed, ensuring the department operates smoothly and efficiently. Throughout the years, Captain Conrad has held various roles within the department, including patrol officer, detective, sergeant, and captain. He also serves on the Safety Committee, Fall Festival Committee, and Fallen Officer Memorial Committee. Furthermore, Captain Conrad oversees the maintenance of the patrol fleet, equipment, and uniforms. We could certainly elaborate further on Captain Conrad's contributions as the longest-serving officer on the force, but we believe his value to the Rose Hill Police Department is already evident. Congratulations and thank you for another year of dedicated service.

Incase you haven’t seen the weather forecast or felt the weather today, you should know a storm is brewing, Butler County has officially been placed under a tornado watch until 1:00am. Practice your storm procedures and know the public shelters are unlocked.
