Today marks the first official day of Boyd EMS stationing an ambulance and crew full time in Roodhouse!

Having an ambulance and EMS team stationed in both Carrollton and Roodhouse allows us to better serve our communities during emergencies when every second counts.

Thank you Roodhouse Fire Protection District for collaborating to make this possible!

ANNOUNCEMENT!
Roodhouse Fire District is excited to announce that a Greene County ALS Ambulance will soon be staffed in the northern portion of the county, and will be responding out of the firehouse. The change of quarters should decrease response times to the northern part of the county during medical and traumatic emergencies. The southern portion of the county should remain unchanged during 911 events as an ambulance will be remaining staffed in Carrollton.

Firefighters from Roodhouse Fire District and White Hall Fire District were invited to the North Greene Elementary Pre-K end of the year picnic. Firefighters gave a quick fire safety presentation, and passed out helmets, coloring books with crayons, and gift bags donated by the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal and other private donors.
