UPDATE - everyone is home safe and sound!

Kittitas County Fire Protection District 6 is responding to a State Mobilization request in Benton County for the Wagon Wheel Fire.

District 6 is sending S621 as Strike Team Leader, B621 with an Engine Boss and 2 FF2, and B573 staffed with an Engine Boss and 2 FF2 from the Roslyn Fuels Crew. Our crew will be meeting up with crews from Klickitat and Yakima County’s to form the strike team. 

We’re proud to support our neighboring communities and partner agencies.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY for Sunday, June 21st

FD6 will be hosting a Fill the Boot for MouseAbout! All funds go to local cancer patients ❤️ We’ll be out strutting our stuff in the name of charity, 9am-1pm. During this time, traffic will slow down in front of the Ronald General Store- signs will be out. Won’t be able to stop by and support this awesome cause? QR code in the comments to our Venmo 😎

🚨UPDATE: Crews are headed home!

Kittitas County Fire Protection District #6 is sending Support 621 as Strike Team Leader and Brush 621, staffed with 3 personnel, to assist with the third-alarm brush fire at the Yakima Training Center. Cle Elum Volunteer Fire Department is also sending Brush 511 with 3 personnel, and Kittitas County Fire District is sending Brush 111 with 3 personnel to support the Strike Team response. Upper Kittitas units will likely join Lower Kittitas units from Kittitas Valley Fire & Rescue- KVFR already responding.
