The South Rome Senior Center will be hosting a Life Line Screening event on Thursday, Sept. 24th starting at 9am.
Life Line Screening is the premier provider of stroke and cardiovascular disease risk screenings since 1993. Life Line Screening is extending a discounted offer to all South Rome Senior Center members which will identify your risk level for the following diseases:

UPCOMING EXERCISE PROGRAMS STARTING SEPT. 15!

We're now in collaboration with the 50 Forward Mohawk Valley Parkway Center and are starting our exercise classes. Classes are 7 weeks long. The cost is just $25 for all 7 sessions for a $5 drop in fee per class.

Here's the schedule for 9/15 - 10/27/26 - 7 week courses:

1:30pm Line Dancing

WEDNESDAYS
9:30am Tone & Fit

SAVE THE DATE! NEXT TUESDAY, SEPT. 1ST will be the kickoff of our new partnership with 50 Forward Mohawk Valley Parkway Center to bring exercise to our Center.

Stop down at 10am and meet your local officials while you check out our facility. Refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Franklin Hotel (yum!).

Exercise classes start Tuesday, Sept. 15th. Class schedules to follow!

Our next dinner will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19th. We're having bar-be-que chicken, potato salad, macaroni & cheese, baked beans and more! The cost is $20 and includes beverage and dessert.

We're hoping for a large turnout for our upcoming Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 15th from 12pm - 1:30pm.

We'll be serving French Vanilla, Butter Pecan and Brownie Cookie Sundae ice cream with lots of toppings to choose from!

Make your own sundae for just $4 or get an ice cream cone for $2.
