Randy Quick for Rome City Commission Re-elect Randy Quick During his time of service, Commissioner Quick has also completed more than 120 hours of training from the Harold F. Knox Jr.

Elected in 2017, Commissioner Quick has served on General Administration, Finance, Public Safety, Public Works, Community Development, Downtown Development Authority, Redevelopment Committee, Rome / Floyd County Planning Commission, Joint Services, Alcohol Control Commission, Clean Community Commission, Litter and Blight Task Force and the Water and Sewer Committee. Holtz Municipal Institute, a co

operative effort of the Georgia Municipal Association and the University of Georgia Carl Vinson Institute of Government. In late September of this year Commissioner Quick will be one of forty elected officials from the state to participate in the Robert E. Municipal Leadership Institute.

Downtown Rome, GA 's Fiddlin' Fest is Saturday, October 8, and returning with it is Fiddlin' on the River! Broad Street turns into a spectacular festival with live music stages, and the Roman Holiday is an extension of all of the fun! 3 AMAZING musical artists will play live music while you enjoy a trip down the river. Sister Street Aces will bring you old time, cajun, country, and old skool irish music straight outta New Orleans at 1:30pm; the Barbaric Yawps entertain with their eclectic acoustic band steeped in bluegrass, old-time, and traditional country at 3:00pm; and the many talents of Moon Crew wrap up the river trips at 4:30pm.
