🙌We would like to take a moment to give thanks to the Delia Gonzalez Garcia Elementary Student Council for their generous blanket donation this afternoon. 🤗

Thanks to this team we will be able to keep our community members warm upon the arrival of next week's cold weather.🥶

🚒Our station will put these blankets into good use by providing them to anyone who stays at our fire house over the week.

‼Reminder: We will be opening a warming shelter for Roma residents starting this Saturday, January 24th at 6:00 P.M. through Tuesday, January 27th. Please make sure to bring an identification that shows your physical address within the city limits.

SAFETY TIP FOR FRYING TURKEYS🔥🦃:

🦃 Make sure to not fry any frozen turkeys and thaw out accordingly.

🦃 Do not overfill your pot.

🦃 Don't let your oil get too hot.

🦃 If the cooking causes a fire, DO NOT put water on it.

🦃 Keep children and pets away and remember to always use protective gear.

Our volunteer department is hosting a spring raffle this April 19th at the Roma Fire Department. All proceeds will benefit our volunteers to purchase equipment or personal protective gear that they might need.
