South Bay Auxiliary of HIS is a volunteer organization that supports HIS through fundraising projects Last year, HIS provided 31,000 services to 10,400 people.

The purpose of the South Bay Auxiliary of Harbor Interfaith Services is to initiate and carry on fundraising projects for Harbor Interfaith Services (HIS). For over 43 years, HIS has served the vital needs of the homeless and working poor throughout the greater South Bay area.

We're so grateful to be able to give Harbor Interfaith a check for $135,000 to help support The Children's Center. The Children's Center provides high-quality daycare and after-school care to kids whose families are working poor or homeless. Many thanks to all of the generous donors who helped make this possible and to our Auxiliary members who worked hard to make this year such a success.

Want to work with wonderful people for a great cause? Please consider joining the South Bay Auxiliary of Harbor Interfaith Services (HIS). We raise funds for The Children’s Center at HIS, which serves the homeless and working poor in the South Bay. The Children’s Center provides high-quality preschool and after school care for kids while their parents work or continue their education.

We have one fundraising event each year. Next year’s event will be held on Wed., April 29th at the Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. We also help provide meals at Thanksgiving and help with the Holiday Toy Drive.

If you’re interested, we’d love to have you attend our New Member introductory meeting on Wed., Sept. 10th at 7:00 PM in Rancho Palos Verdes. For more information, please contact us at [email protected]. You can learn more about the HIS Auxiliary at hisauxiliary.org.
