Severe weather is forecasted for Rolette County this evening and tonight. The main threats include:
โข Large hail
โข Damaging wind gusts
โข Possible tornadoes
โข Dangerous lightning and heavy rainfall
Residents are encouraged to have multiple ways to receive weather alerts, stay weather aware, and be prepared to take shelter quickly if a warning is issued.

Memorial Hall is open as a tornado shelter.
๐ City of Rolla
St. Kateri Hospital Basement is designated as a tornado shelter. City Hall basement will also be available for shelter.
๐ City of Belcourt
IHS Hospital is designated as a tornado shelter.
๐ City of Dunseith
City Hall is designated as a tornado shelter.
๐ City of St John
Cherie Gunville will make Thrift Store in St John Senior Center basement open for shelter.
St. John Public School has also opened their doors for tornado shelter. Please follow their protocols on their page.
Please do not wait until the last minute to seek shelter. If a Tornado Warning is issued or you feel unsafe, move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest level of a sturdy building, away from windows.
