Have you spotted butterflies around Rolesville?

Residents are invited to take part in Capture the Flutter by submitting photos of butterflies found around town.

As part of the Town’s commitment to the Mayor’s Monarch Pledge, this initiative highlights local pollinators and the habitats they depend on. Photos can be taken in your backyard, at a park, or along a greenway.

Submissions will help showcase Rolesville’s natural environment and support pollinator awareness in the community.

To participate, submit your butterfly photos here: https://www.cognitoforms.com/TownOfRolesville/TownOfRolesvilleCaptureTheFlutter

Scammers are getting more creative, and staying informed is one of the best ways to protect yourself online.

Over the next several weeks, the Town of Rolesville will share simple tips and information to help residents recognize common scams, protect their personal information, and stay cyber-aware.

You may have heard terms like phishing, spoofing, and spam, but what do they actually mean?

▪ Phishing: Fake messages designed to trick you into sharing personal information
▪ Spoofing: When a scammer disguises an email or phone number to look real
▪ Spam: Unwanted messages, often sent in bulk

These tactics are commonly used together to target residents.

Tip: If something feels off, take a moment to verify before clicking or responding.
