🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, the City of Rogersville Police Department joins our nation in remembering the innocent lives lost and honoring the extraordinary sacrifices made on September 11, 2001.

We remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, military members, and countless everyday Americans who showed incredible courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy. Many ran toward danger to help people they had never met, and some made the ultimate sacrifice while doing so.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor their bravery, their service, and their sacrifice. May we also remember the unity and compassion that brought our country together in the days that followed.

To the victims, their families, the survivors, and every first responder who answered the call — we remember you. We honor you. We will never forget.

🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — Never Forget.

💙 United we stand.

Today marks one year since our Street Department team member, Michael Bradley, experienced a medical emergency while on the job. In honor of his strength and recovery, and in commitment to the safety of our team and community, the Town of Rogersville is proud to announce the launch of a life-saving initiative: 20 new AEDs acquired for our city.

13 AEDs will be placed in all police cruisers, and the remaining 7 will be placed around town in various city departments. All city employees will also be trained in CPR and AED certified, empowering us to respond quickly and confidently in times of need.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Together we’re building a safer Rogersville! ❤️

We had the pleasure of meeting Owei at the Rogersville Police Department this week. As part of his college internship, he will be going door-to-door throughout Rogersville selling educational and biblical resources. He has obtained all of the necessary permits to conduct his business.
