For local Burning information or to obtain a Free Burn Permit contact TN State Forestry 345-2147 Striggersville Fire Department is located in Hawkins County, Tn. We are a Volunteer department currently operating out of two stations housing, two Pumpers, two Tankers, and one Brush Truck. Our main station is located at 697 Caney Creek Rd. We serve a large area of the county, and back up county departments.

🚗❄️ Stranded Vehicles During Inclement Weather

Hawkins County Emergency Services has a system in place to help prevent duplicate calls for service during severe weather.

If you see a vehicle with caution tape or bright-colored tape on it, this means the vehicle has already been checked and cleared by emergency services and there is no one inside needing assistance.

This process helps:
✅ Reduce repeated calls for the same vehicle
✅ Keep emergency lines available for true emergencies
✅ Allow responders to focus on those who still need help

Please do not report taped vehicles unless you see a new hazard or someone in distress.
