The biennial convention for the Democrat Party of Arkansas was today. Our Benton County delegates were present and engaged in the Democratic process to review, discuss/debate, and vote. The convention body voted to adopt the new statewide platform to promote a brighter, healthier, safer, and fairer Arkansas.  We look forward to this election season and the next couple of years with these guiding principles to make Benton County and Arkansas a better place.

Nearly 1,000 Arkansans were elected as delegates to the Republican Party of Arkansas' 2026 State Convention. Only 588 were allowed to vote.

22 counties — 30% of the state's Republican county committees — were shut out entirely. Washington County elected 55 delegates, filled their full allotment under state law, and wasn't even allowed to speak in their own defense.

After six and a half hours, the party's "final authority" conducted 20 minutes of actual business.

This is the party that holds every statewide office in Arkansas. So who does it really represent?

Deserved and earned!!

I’m honored to receive the endorsement of Run for Something for my campaign for Arkansas House District 10.

This campaign has never been about one person. It’s about neighbors coming together to build a stronger community and a government that works for everyday people.

From serving 20 years in uniform to serving my community here at home, I’ve always believed leadership starts with showing up.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in this campaign, volunteered, donated, shared a post, attended an event, or simply had a conversation with me.

Pretty sneaky that an elected official turns off comments on a post where they don’t want people to respond with facts.

Like how California, unlike Arkansas, mails voter registration ballots to every registered voter in the state creating an opportunity for every voter to have the chance to vote.

Like how California, unlike Arkansas, allows mail-in ballots to be postmarked up to the day of election.

Like how California has a population more than 10 times that of the state of Arkansas and to make sure ballots are accounted correctly, it takes time.
