Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, 25 years ago and to honor the first responders, service members, families, and communities forever impacted by that day.

We remember the courage shown in the face of tragedy, the sacrifices made by so many, and the strength that brought people together in the days that followed. The City of Rogers joins communities across the nation in honoring their memory.

We will never forget.

Did you recently receive a call, text, or other notification this week letting you know that you were being removed from CodeRED emergency alerts? If so, this is legitimate and is part of a regional system change!

CTCOG has transitioned from CodeRED to Everbridge as the new emergency notification system for Central Texas. Everbridge may be used to send alerts about severe weather, fires, flooding, road closures, utility issues, emergency information, and other important community notifications, just like CodeRED did before.

If you were previously signed up for CodeRED, your information should have transferred over, but CTCOG still reccomends for you to manually register and create your account for Everbridge to confirm you will continue receiving alerts.

Sign up here:
https://ctcog.org/everbridge-sign-up-links/

Select your area and follow the instructions to complete registration. Share this post with family, friends, or neighbors who may have received a CodeRED removal notice and were unsure why.

Howdy y'all!

While City Hall has moved to our new location (69 S. Alvin Ailey), we wanted to let Rogers Citizens know to please continue using the same drop box location for the time being at 2 W Mesquite Ave.

At this time, we have a staff member that will check the drop box daily, so anything left there will still be collected as usual!
