We're growing! PEARL is hiring for two new positions, and we want people who are ready to make a real difference in the recovery community.

We are adding a Peer Recovery Specialist AND our first ever Family Peer Advocate to our team. Both roles are rooted in lived experience and peer connection, expanding our capacity to reach more individuals and families in Northwest Arkansas.

If you or someone you know is passionate about recovery, peer support, and showing up for this community, we want to hear from you.

We couldn’t let today go by without celebrating Jeff’s birthday!!

If you’ve ever met Jeff, you know his heart is huge. He’s out in the community every day, building real relationships and telling anyone who’ll listen why our mission matters. You can just tell how much he loves this work.

Jeff brings his own lived experience to this work, and it’s part of what makes his passion so real. He doesn’t just believe in this mission, he’s lived it, and that’s a big part of why this organization is so grateful to have him.

Happy birthday, Jeff! Here’s to an amazing year ahead!

Tojuana, our Peer Supervisor, has been busy! Fresh off the 2026 Peer Conference, she headed straight to the 2026 NAADAC Conference in Kansas City to keep the momentum going.

NAADAC is the national credentialing body for addiction professionals, and this year the Peer Program was a highlight of conversation throughout the whole conference. Tojuana had the chance to learn about Peer Support processes from across the country and network with professionals from other states, all while using her own skills and knowledge to educate others on how things are done here in Arkansas.

Grateful for leaders like her, moving this work forward!

Today, we remember. 💜🕊️

August 31st is International Overdose Awareness Day. Behind every statistic is a beautiful soul, a family changed forever, and a community that remembers.

Today, our page is a space for honor and remembrance. We invite you to share a photo, a name, or initials of your loved ones in the comments below.

Let’s hold space for each other and ensure their lights continue to shine. You are not alone, and your loved ones are never forgotten.

Yesterday, Jim and Traci proudly represented PEARL at The Hope Coalition’s Bridge the Gap event in Little Rock.

Events like this matter. They shine a light on the lives we’ve lost to the Fentanyl epidemic and remind us that everyone still struggling deserves support, not judgment. Bridging the gap means meeting people where they are, offering harm reduction, resources, and a real chance at life.

Every single life has value. Every life deserves hope.

Thank you to The Hope Coalition for hosting this important event, and to Jim and Traci for representing PEARL with heart. Together, we can keep spreading awareness and saving lives.

Our peers have spent the last few days in Little Rock at the 2026 Arkansas Peer Recovery Conference!

This has been such a great opportunity for our Peer Support Specialists and Peer Supervisor to gather with peers from across the state, learn, share experiences, make new connections, and bring some new ideas and knowledge back home with them.

Peer support is such an important part of what we do at PEARL, and we’re thankful to have a team that continues to show up, grow in their roles, and find new ways to better support the people we serve.

Thank you for showing up and representing PEARL and Northwest Arkansas! We’re so proud to have each of you on our team and hope you’ve enjoyed every minute of this experience!
