The Franklin County Adult & Career Education program will be closed on Monday September 7th in honor of the Labor Day Holiday. All classes are canceled. The program will reopen and classes will resume on Tuesday September 8th.

Please help us to congratulate Brayden T., our first official GED graduate for this school year! He began his journey at the FCACE program in April as a Fast Track Distance Learning Student. Brayden scored well on his GEDReady practice assessments and earned the scholarship-waiver to take the official GED subject tests for FREE! He studied at home using the Scoreboost GED Test Preparation books. He said appreciated how the staff at the FCACE were willing to schedule appointments around his work and life schedule. Brayden chose to take his official GED subject tests at the Roanoke Higher Education building’s GED Test Center. He said he liked testing in Roanoke because he could schedule up to two official GED subject tests for the same day.

Braden plans to enroll into an animation / art + design school. He also hopes to attend a Bible College in the future. We are proud of you, Brayden!! 🎉 👨‍🎓 👏

¡El personal y los colaboradores están entusiasmados por preparar el semestre de otoño de las clases del programa de Educación para Adultos y Carreras Profesionales del Condado de Franklin en el Franklin Center! Las clases presenciales diurnas de GED y de Educación Básica para Adultos comenzarán la semana del 10 de agosto. La clase presencial nocturna de matemáticas para el GED iniciará el 25 de agosto. Tanto las clases presenciales diurnas como las nocturnas de ESOL (inglés para el ámbito laboral) comenzarán la semana del 24 de agosto.

The staff and friends are excited to prepare for the Fall Semester of the Franklin County Adult & Career Education program’s classes at the Franklin Center! In-person Day GED and Adult Basic Education Classes will begin the week of August 10th. In-person Night GED Math Class will commence on August 25th. Both Day and Night In-person ESOL- Workforce English Classes will start the week of August 24th.
