STATEWIDE BURN BAN LIFTED - The statewide burn ban was officially lifted on May 3, 2026, at 8:00 AM. We highly recommend that you continue to practice fire safety measures should you choose to burn:

🔥 Follow all local and state regulations
🔥 Keep a water source or hose nearby
🔥Avoid burning on windy days
🔥 Make sure your fire is completely extinguished before leaving

🔥🚒After returning from a call, C-Shift Engine 5 noticed a group of children in the area and gave an impromptu fire safety session along with a truck demonstration. In return, the kids gave us their best impression of Michael Jackson! The crew also donated footballs, volleyballs, and bouncy balls so the children can add more games to their fun! Outstanding job, Yarborough, A. Wells, Roberson, and Webb!
