Good evening, NCPS families,

Due to the forecast of Level 4 severe weather conditions in our area, Nash County Public Schools will be closed for students and staff on Monday, March 16, 2026. All after-school activities and athletics are also canceled.

Please note that this is not a remote learning day for students. Students will not have assignments or virtual instruction.

Staff can either use an annual leave day or opt to telework. Staff, if you have questions, please contact your school’s principal or your supervisor. Essential employees need to contact their supervisor for instructions. Essential staff includes​ custodians, maintenance, central office transportation, and central office school nutrition.

Official weather updates will be shared on the Nash County Public Schools Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as on our district website at www.ncpschools.net. Please make sure your correct phone number and email address are on file with your student’s school so you continue to receive calls, texts, and emails.
