Please remember who we were as a country on September 12th, 25 years ago.

Our children have never known a time when our country felt that united. Tell them the stories. Tell them how we came together, how we cared for strangers, and how we showed up for one another.

Today, do something kind for someone, especially a first responder. Spend time with your family. Answer the call. Say “I love you.” And take every opportunity you can to live life to the fullest.

Because remembering 9/11 is also about remembering who we became on September 12th.

As students across our community head back to school, some of our elected officials are flashing back to their school days.

While their hairstyles have changed, their commitment hasn't: strong fully funded schools, safe classrooms, and opportunities for all.

Thank you to the teachers and staff who guided us then, and to those who continue shaping the future.

Here's to a great year ahead! May your pencils stay sharp, your Wi-fi stay strong, and your school photos be a little less awkward.

We are saddened to hear the news this morning of the passing of our former Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman.
Nancy was a dynamic leader in our state. She was easy to talk to, approachable, knowledgeable and her smile brightened the room. She was a strong supporter of Rocky Hill for which we are grateful. We thank her for her dedication to our state and pray for family during this difficult time 🙏🏼❤️
