ROCKY HILL PARKS & RECREATION IS HIRING INDOOR LIFEGUARDS!

We are currently hiring lifeguards for the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons at the Rocky Hill High School Pool.

Need your certification? Glastonbury Parks & Recreation is offering an upcoming American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course on September 12, 13, 19 & 20! This is a great opportunity to gain the certifications and skills needed to begin your lifeguarding journey.

Participants must be at least 15 years old by the final day of class and successfully complete the required prerequisite skills evaluation.

Once certified, interested applicants can apply to join the Rocky Hill Parks & Recreation lifeguard team! For employment information, please contact [email protected]

💰 $355 per participant

🎂 Participants must be at least 15 years old by the final day of class.

The course includes certification in Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Standard First Aid, and AED training.

🏊 Participants must also successfully complete a prerequisite skills evaluation, including a 150-yard swim, a 2-minute tread without using their arms, and a 10-pound brick retrieval.
