In observance of Labor Day, the City will be closed on Monday, September 8th. All administrative offices and most departmental operations will pause for the holiday as we honor the contributions of workers in our community and across the nation. Public safety departments, including Police, Fire, and the Emergency Communication Center will remain fully staffed and operating as scheduled to ensure continued protection and support for our residents.

Notice of Vacancy - Mayor

Letters of interest must be submitted to the City Clerk no later than 5:00 pm, Tuesday, September 15, 2026. All letters received by the deadline will be considered by the Rocky Ford City Council on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 6:00 pm.

Applicants must meet the criteria to be considered:
Be at least 18 years old
Be a registered voter
Have been a resident of the City of Rocky Ford (within the city limits) for at least twelve (12) consecutive months
