As the weather gets colder, we should be looking for ways to make sure everyone stays warm!
The National Junior Honor Society at Shumate will be hosting a Coat Drive until December 22nd. They are looking for gently used Winter Coats of all sizes. If you have an item to donate please send it in with your student, and have them drop it off in the NEST! Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated, and thank you for helping us keep others warm during these cold times.

Our holiday break is almost here! What better way to send some cheer than to send your student or teacher a sweet treat?!
Shumate's Student Council will be selling chocolate Santa Grams and Candy Cane Grams for $1.00 next week. Sales will take place during each lunch, with delivery on the last day before break.

If you would like to send one to someone at Shumate, just send in $1.00 per treat with the following information:
Who is getting it?
(specify chocolate or candy cane)
Short message
Who is it from?

Put everything in an envelope and label it "SantaGrams." Have someone drop it off in the office and we'll do the rest!

Hello parents! The PBIS team at Shumate is looking for ways to boost and improve our students' social interactions. As such, we are hoping you could donate some good old-fashioned games to our school. We are in search of the following donations:
*Games (checkers, Uno, chess, Clue, etc.)
*Decks of cards
*Puzzles
If you can help, please send the games with your son or daughter to school. They can bring the games directly to Miss Sammie in the NEST. For each donation to our game closet, they will receive a “Pride Ticket”. Thank you for your help!

Welcome back, Seahawks! Like last year, we are promoting grade-level teams at Shumate to support our PBIS Program. Each graduating class has a different shirt. Students that were in 6th or 7th-grade last year have the same shirt and design. The cost is $6 and shirts will be delivered in a bulk order to Shumate. Use the link below to order your shirt today!
